Attack of das clones
So I just got back from the 3pm screening at the Uptown Theatre here in DC (Old style, with balcony, huge screen rockin).
So. Much. Better. than episode I. The story is starting to tie together now too. Yoda is all over the place! it’s wild. The clones are pretty amazing. A lot of stuff starts to make sense about the last three (like how everything got to the point it did from happy Republic to intergalactic civil war).
Go. See. It. Now.

You just liked the movie because it had love scenes with Natalie Portman. Should we start addressing you as Mr. Skywalker?

Go see it again. . .see if you can find the parts with the Emperor's Royal Guard in it.
They're all hidden and sit.

yeah! i saw the royal guards-- the red cloaked sentries-- on either side of palapatine as they launched all the ships near the end of the movie.
one of the best things about the movie are all of the levels of foreshadowing throughout.
there is far too much dialogue and exposition in the 2nd hour + the love story is _so_ contrived, but .. the last hour or so and yoda alone are worth the price of admission.

Ah, the padawan didn't see all the instances of the "royal" guards. They're in the movie starting in the second scene -- all the way through.
