I'm a producer now

Mario Sacasa called me this morning. We stayed up until 5 am at the Lamont house partying after the show last night. Turns out that a flautist named Nestor Torres wanted to play on one of Mario’s tracks and was going to be leaving soon. So Nestor and Mario came over. And I was a good little ProTools engineer. And good Lord, Nestor is a phenomenal flautist. I mean. The guy was all over the place in a good way. He was a perfectionist about it as well. Very professional, very easy to work with.

So now, I’m an “engineer” on Mario’s new record (which I’m also designing the sleeve for). Just call me the digital whore of Arlington.
